Fox stealing from porch
One shoe had been stolen from the porch the previous night, and a couple things moved/knocked over. Gamecam set up aimed at porch this evening in case it came back to steal the other shoe. No - prior to this capture it must have pulled down the leash, which had previously been on the seat of the chair with the drying towel. Luckily leash did not get dragged all the way to den - found in yard. (Still no sign of shoe #1)

When did they start allowing lever guns? When I used to run, that was a no-go due to the chance that horses would step on the cartridges and get them in the hoof, stumble, go down, etc.

This brings up so many questions. Is this a popular activity? Are these horses actually doing work outside these events or is there whole life just about these pulling contests? Does it take alot to train these horses for this sport, like training an olympic weight lifter? What is the heaviest (Record) a horse team has pulled?
